When Burton Computer Corporation was awarded the GE Real Estate Content Management System contract, they chose Exclamation Labs to design the Graphical User Interface for their sophisticated system. Faced with one of our most challenging interface design projects ever, we were able to take the complex backend, and simplify it to where a novice internet user could easily manage the data used by GE Real Estate over multiple web sites and languages. It may not necessarily be traditional creative approach, but this complicated project proves that creative thinking doesn't always require copy and photos.

Biederlack of America constantly changed their nearly 2,000-product printed Sports Catalog before they hired Exclamation Labs to turn their database into a production tool. At the touch of a button, the newest data now produces an HTML-based CD containing a standalone product catalog. The client can update the data themselves at any point, ensuring that the tool is constantly accurate. This data then populates templates designed by 40 West Studios. Save the world? Hardly. Save the client countless time and money? Without a doubt.

After years of hosting their many client's sites on a shared Exclamation Labs server, JP Enterprises decided it was time they needed their own web server. They wanted the ability to add, delete and modify users and sites without extensive administration experience. Exclamation Labs' WYSIWYG interface allowed them to do just that. Now they have the full control they need to administer their hosting service, the security of a managed firewall, the speed and redundancy of Qwest's infrastructure, and plus they can get Exclamation Labs expert administrative assistance just by asking.

Exclamation Labs is the web agency of record for Gerber Life Insurance Company. Three years ago we introduced online applications that created a PDF (Portable Document Format). More recently we've added the ability to track an application back to its direct mail initiative, as well as an online chat system that allows customers to communicate live time with Customer Service Representatives.
The newest design of the site features a bright color palette and an easy-to-follow drop down navigation. A Plan Assistant recommends the proper plan based on several variables—without the user ever leaving the home page. Exclamation Labs also creates online marketing for Gerber Life with sites such as AOL and Disney.com. Site traffic and web applications have grown exponentially over the relationship.

We never assume, with any of our projects, that bigger is better. Since we're a small business, we can appreciate the dedication required of other like companies. Historian Al Feldstein and advertising agency McClarran and Williams came to Exclamation Labs when it came time to sell the "Buttons of the Cause" poster. An online storefront would be required to serve as Feldstein's place of business. Exclamation Labs designed and packaged the site, store front, shopping system, and commerce engine. The cost? You might be pleasantly surprised. Taking advantage of existing software, we were able to provide the team with a fully integrated e-commerce solution that had been customized specifically to them.
In contrast, we've also built an online store with over 65,000 products—totally from scratch. This same site now handles nearly one million dollars per month in transactions.
